Re: text blocks between snippets in graph view

It would be great if it will be possible to write text blocks between PDF snippets, to describe the relationship between them. While not entirely the same, Keypoints allows you to add one or more link type(s) (aka "typed links", "semantic links", or "qualified links") to a link that links to anothe...

Re: linking snippets to markdown outline

Hi, thanks for the request! When I am doing research, I want to link my snippets immediately to an outline. Yes, Keypoints is meant to incorporate such a workflow, however, only the basics of that feature have been implemented so far. In Keypoints terminology, such an outline is called "overview not...

Re: filter and orange snippets in graph view

In graph view it would be helpful to filter the snippets, and also have the snippets arranged in accordance with a selected outline in which they are linked. The graph visualization generated by Keypoints always shows the currently displayed notes. I.e., similar to the notes list, the graph gets al...

Re: OCR

Native OCR support would definitely be important to have. Hi, many thanks for the request! I've added this as a feature request: Provide OCR capabilities when importing a PDF I agree that native OCR capabilities would be indeed very useful. However, depending on the license and/or pricing of the OC...

Re: Overview Notes

Here's an alternate suggestion to the above (which may be easier to understand & implement): In an overview note (aka structure note), you'd be able to specify notes for inclusion by wrapping their note ID or query with {{...}}. This would be somewhat similar to the MultiMarkdown transclusion syntax...

Re: August 2019 Status Update

Was wondering if Keypoints' development is still active at this point? Hi Pedro, thanks for your feedback! Currently, development progress is unfortunately very slow. Nonetheless, I‘ll definitely continue with its development, and I’m dedicated to bring this app into release state. While the app ha...

August 2019 Status Update

This is a (very) late follow-up to my last status update . The Keypoints app is still in continuous development, and I’ll keep on pushing it forward as much as I can. However, since this is very much a part-time effort, progress is still much slower than I’d like. So I greatly appreciate your patien...

Re: July 2018 Status Update

how can I download the app? Hi, thanks for your interest in the app! Unfortunately, the app isn't available as a public release yet. I'm working on this as much as I can. But since this is currently a part-time project, progress is somewhat slow. At this time, I cannot give an ETA yet, but I'll let...

Re: Workflow

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Is this project still being developed? Hi Jason, many thanks for your continued interest! The app is (and will remain) under continuous development. Unfortunately, I can only work on this part time, and I wish things would move faster. I'm cur...

July 2018 Status Update

Hi, this is a quick follow-up to my last status update . Continuing my development of the Keypoints app, I've made some good progress towards an alpha release. During the last months, I've worked on the search syntax (which now allows for AND/OR searches as well as literal & negated searches). I've ...
